Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By using DocFixer ("the Service") you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The service

DocFixer is a PDF document generator for freelancers. It allows you to create professional invoices, receipts, and service contracts. Watermarked previews are free. Clean PDF downloads require credits purchased through the Service.

3. Account

You must provide a valid email address to register. You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

4. Credits and payments

  • Credits are sold in bundles of 10 for €5.00 (€0.50 per document).
  • Credits are non-refundable and non-transferable.
  • Credits do not expire.
  • All payments are processed by Stripe. DocFixer does not store card details.
  • Prices may change with 30 days notice to registered users.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use DocFixer to:

  • Create fraudulent, misleading, or illegal documents
  • Impersonate another person or entity
  • Violate any applicable law or regulation
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the Service

We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these rules without refund.

6. Your content

You retain full ownership of the content you enter and the documents you generate. We claim no rights over your documents. You are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of the content in your documents.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be available at all times or that generated documents will be accepted by any third party (e.g. tax authorities, courts).

DocFixer documents are templates for general use. They do not constitute legal or financial advice. Consult a qualified professional for your specific situation.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DocFixer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months prior to the claim.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Germany.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify registered users by email of material changes. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
